How Our Network Works
Request an estimate from a provider
Who You Talk To
When you reach out through Ruinedrangers Restoration, you end up speaking with an independent restoration provider in our network. This is a local business, not a call center for a big brand. The person who answers may be an estimator, a project manager, or a dispatcher. Each business sets up its own office a little differently, and that is normal.
What Happens on the First Conversation
Think of it like calling a doctor's office before a visit. They ask a few simple questions so they can plan. Expect to be asked:
- What caused the water, and when it started
- Which rooms or floors are wet
- Whether the water source has been stopped
- Whether you have turned off power to wet areas
If it is safe, take a few photos. They help the provider understand the job and can help later with a claim.
The provider may then offer to visit, give a rough range over the phone, or both. Phone ranges are only a starting point. A written estimate comes after someone sees the damage.
What to Ask a Provider
A short list keeps you calm and focused. Try these:
- Are you licensed and insured for work in this state?
- What is your plan for water extraction and structural drying?
- How will you check that materials are truly dry?
- What is included in the written estimate, and what could change it?
- Will you help document the damage for my insurance company?
- How soon can someone visit, as far as your schedule allows?
Good providers answer these without hurry. If an answer feels vague, ask again or move on.
Comparing More Than One Estimate
Two estimates can look very different and still be fair. One may include drying equipment for several days. Another may only cover removal. Line them up side by side and ask what each one leaves out. The page with the smallest number is not always the full job.
You Are in Control
Nothing about a conversation locks you in. You can ask for time, get a second opinion, or decline. Ruinedrangers Restoration does not do the work and does not choose for you. Costs vary by job, so always get a written quote before agreeing to start.
